Alfred C. Perez, RN, MSN
Owner/President/CEO
There is a relatively small segment of leaders in the business world; individuals who seem able to build relationships, trust, and rapport with almost anyone, and then are able to broker the relationships and make connections between people, creating partnerships and alliances, and motivating forward momentum to get things done.
As the president and CEO of Generations Healthcare, Inc., Generations HealthCare Headquarters USA, Inc., Community First Hospice Care of Austin, and Community First Hospice Care of Houston, Chris Perez is one of those people, and getting things done, and driving results through collaborations, partnerships, and relationships is what he is all about. With an enthusiastic and genuinely friendly attitude, Chris radiates a sincere passion for delivering value and benefits to all his patients.
A Registered Nurse, (RN) by training, Chris earned his B.S. in Nursing at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX in 1999, and spent 4 years as a staff nurse at a 450-bed acute care hospital in San Antonio, TX, before making the life changing decision that he could make a larger, positive impact on more people if he moved into home health nursing and administration. After returning to school and earning his M.S in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, Chris' career accelerated quickly over the last 12 years to the executive level and has expanded far beyond management of nursing and administration to establishing numerous corporations.
The result of promotions in his 7 years of nursing with Progressive Home Care, Inc., allowed him to assume the title of Progressive Home Care, Inc. Administrator. Chris' contributions centered on spearheading development and delivery of healthcare services which included all clinical services and the establishment of clinical policy, process, and corporate improvement programs. But more importantly, he focused on building long-lasting, loyal relationships with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other industry leaders that he now calls friends.
Through it all, Chris has repeatedly proved his ability to lead through diverse and challenging situations. He is an excellent agent of change and has a documented track record of accomplishments that includes the turnaround of chaotic and struggling operations; start-up and management of new healthcare facilities; creation and launch of new and improved educational, clinical and operational programs; and growth and expansion of mature, established clinical staff.
Today, Chris resides in San Antonio, in a small quiet neighborhood on the Northwest side of town. He has taken his next step in his executive career, and is looking forward to the new challenges of business ownership.
